Plain-English summary
By using T1Daily, you agree to these terms. In short:
- T1Daily helps you communicate and prepare — it does not provide medical advice or make clinical decisions.
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. You can cancel anytime.
- Your content is yours. You're responsible for what you enter and who you share it with.
- Use it responsibly and keep your account secure.
Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and T1Daily ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the T1Daily mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and manage a subscription.
Not medical advice
T1Daily is an informational, communication and preparedness tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, dosing recommendations or treatment.
The App does not read, store or interpret glucose or CGM data. Any health-related content is informational only. You should always rely on the advice of your child's qualified diabetes care team, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App.
Your account
To use certain features you create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App.
Subscriptions & billing
T1Daily offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Premium" and "Family") that unlock additional features. The following terms apply:
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
- Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices; any change will apply only to future billing periods and, where required, with your consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App. In particular, you will not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation;
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent any security or billing feature;
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter into the App (your child's profile, handovers, notes, and similar). You are responsible for the accuracy of that content and for choosing who to share it with via share links. By using share and Care Circle features, you grant us the limited permission needed to store and transmit that content to deliver those features to you and the people you invite.
Availability
We work hard to keep the App available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, suspend or discontinue features from time to time. The App relies on third-party services (including Apple, Expo, Supabase and RevenueCat) whose availability is outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, T1Daily is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Because the App is not a medical device, you remain solely responsible for all care decisions relating to your child.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
